Heart Chakra

The heart chakra is the middle of the seven chakras. "Chakra" is derived from Sanskrit meaning wheel or energy vortex. Traditionally, each chakra is represented by a colour, sound, mantra and shape. When the chakras are in balance the system of the body, mind and emotions are in balance. 

The heart chakra is located in the centre of the chest and is the seat of unconditional love, which is the essence of the divine. It is usually
represented by the colour green. Expansion of the heart, through healing, bridges the three lower chakras representing the body and the three
traditional higher chakras representing spirit (there are more). It is balance, harmony, peace.

In ascended beings, the heart chakra is the new foundation, or base chakra,of the enlightened state. In this state, it becomes pink.
Expansion of the heart through healing is an essential step in the journey towards living ascension, that is, living in a divine,
Joyous state here on earth.
